Toluna uses a points system, not unlike many of the other earning opportunities I’ve reviewed at Wealth Inflator.
The idea is that for all of your completed surveys (and even some of your interactions with the Toluna community), you earn points.
Earning points with Toluna
Different tasks will earn you a different number of points. Profile surveys create an opportunity to earn points fast in smaller amounts.
Longer surveys, accessed through the Survey Center or through your notifications, usually provide larger earning opportunities.
Toluna also offers regular cash sweepstakes that active users may enter whenever they want. These operate, of course, like a lottery system, but the cash bonuses are large enough to keep users coming back week after week.
Keep in mind, however, that you will need to remain active for at least three consecutive months in order to qualify for sweepstakes.

How Can You Redeem Money and Other Rewards Earned Through Toluna?

Options include:
- Cash or checks which are fulfilled through PayPal, meaning that you will need an active PayPal account to receive money from Toluna

- Sweepstakes entries, such as the monthly drawing for $4500 or the sporadic drawing for an LED TV
- Gifties, which operate as a sort of scratch card for tangible products; to redeem gifties, you exchange points for the chance to win a specific prize, which you may or may not win
The points-to-rewards conversion rate differs slightly depending on how you choose to redeem them. For example, if you want to redeem cash or an Amazon gift card, the conversion rate is 3000 points for $1.
Other gift cards may come with a better points-to-monetary-value ratio, but you’ll need at least 30,000 points to redeem them.
