Thanks for joining me today for my updated review of Bananatic for 2022
Bananatic is an app that says it will pay you to play games and carry out various small tasks.
Bananatic is what is usually referred to as a GPT (Get Paid To) website, although this platform is more geared towards rewarding you for playing games more than other common tasks found on similar sites.
In my review today I will be joining and taking an inside look to help me get a feel for the platform. I will also be discovering what other users think of the site, and weighing up the potential pros and cons.
First however let’s take a closer look at Bananatic and how it works.
Introduction To Bananatic
Bananatic is a website and a mobile app that says it pays you with redeemable points known as “bananas,” just for playing games and carrying out other activities on the platform.
You may then exchange your bananas for rewards such as Steam Games, Amazon Gift Cards, PayPal cash and PC merchandise, among many other prizes.
How Bananatic Works
Bananatic offers a simple sign up process, as you are only required to provide your name and email address.
Alternatively, you may sign up using your Facebook or Google Plus ID. You are then required to provide a fictional name that you will use as your game handle.
Once you are signed in you can then start the process.
Before you can start collecting bananas, you need to register with your favorite games listed on the platform. Bananatic has plenty of free-to-play games, with each game offering a specific amount of bananas.
Popular games include War Thunder, League of Angels, Crosscut, the Outpost Nine and Life is Feudal among many others.
Each game consists of various quests (instructions) that players have to complete in order to collect bananas. Once you complete all the tasks, you are required to submit a screenshot of your activities.
Bananatic will then verify your submission to confirm that you have adhered to all instructions as stipulated. After verification, you will receive your bananas within 48 hours.
Every activity on this platform will earn you points (bananas).
Besides playing games and completing quests, you may also collect bananas by downloading and trying out various apps, referring your friends, cashback shopping, viewing ads, blogging on Bananapedia, liking and sharing the site/app on social media.
Let’s take a closer look at the earning opportunities;
How Can You Earn With Bananatic?
By clicking on the ‘Earn Bananas‘ link on your main dashboard you will see all the earning options available to you.
When you click on the Games Quests link you realise how much this platform is focused on games. That’s because it takes you to a screen that allow you to find the games of your choice either by searching, by alphabetical letter or by genre.
There are literally hundreds of games to choose from. Each game informs you of what you are able to earn by participating. You will of course need to achieve a certain level or score before you get rewarded.
The surveys link informs you of how many surveys there are currently available to you. Each time I have logged in there were surveys available. (See below).
The adverts link takes you too the OfferWall where you will find offers from third party websites.
Here you will find more games to play and where you can earn more bananas. The higher the levels you get to, the more bananas you will earn. You can also choose the type of game you prefer, whether it’s puzzles or arcade games.
You can also earn bananas for shopping with the platforms partners. This link however didn’t have many options, although it does ask if you’d like to have your shop added, and message them if you do.
You can also earn by referring others to the site. You will get $1 for each person that you refer to the site. However, the referred friend will have to earn 500 bananas before you get your referral commission.
So if you want to earn this way then your referrals will have to be motivated and enjoy playing games or participating in other ways on the site.
You can also earn what the site calls experience points. You can do this by doing things like sharing the site on social media, commenting on games you’ve played, and engaging with other members on the forum.
The experience points provide a levelling up of your account, although it isn’t clear to me what monetary benefits you may unlock by collecting your experience points. The site appears to be still working on this.
By clicking on this link you will find a section that offers you the opportunity to earn more bananas for creating either a video or writing an article about the games you have been playing.
Like with other GPT sites you can also earn by watching video ad.
How Much Can You Earn With Bananatic?
As with any other GPT site, the more you participate, the more you earn. If you’re into gaming then you won’t need a lot of motivation to keep you in the site, however if gaming isn’t your thing then the earning opportunities will be limited.
The site is mostly for gamers, and it’s therefore gamers who are more likely to earn the most.
You will not be able to earn a full time income with this or any other GPT site, however a considerable commitment of time could provide you with a reasonable second income carrying out activities you enjoy.
The best way to approach this site would be to enjoy the activities, and see the income earned as a nice bonus,
Cashing Out With Bananatic
The minimum withdrawal limit is $5 (2,500 bananas). You can exchange your bananas for gift cards, digital keys, steam wallet, computer merchandise or PayPal cash rewards.
You may also cash out in terms of game currency, which you can use to make in game-purchases. Supported gift card options include Amazon, PlayStation, Xbox, Google Play, iTunes and Spotify, among many others.
At the time of writing the Bananatic App has a score of 3.8/5 from nearly 5000 reviews at GooglePlay
A lot of users enjoy using the app, they enjoy playing the games, and users report having received their rewards.
Some users however complain about technical issues, and others say they didn’t get their reward, although customer service have responded to these and asked the member to contact them so they can resolve the issue.
I would love to hear from any of my readers that have used the Bananatic website or app who want to share their experience. If you do please leave a comment in the comments section below.
