Thanks for checking out my DonkeyMails review
DonkeyMails is an online platform where members can earn by clicking ads, reading mails, playing games, signing up to free sites and completing offers among many other simple tasks.
In my review today I will be finding out what you need to know about the Donkeymails platform to help you decide if it’s worth checking out.
Is DonkeyMails Legitimate?
DonkeyMails is a legitimate website that has been in existence since 2005. Ever since its establishment the company has developed a huge following of over 600,000 members worldwide.
The fact that DonkeyMails pays its members promptly (within 2 weeks) further upholds its legitimacy. You can visit the DonkeyMails ‘been paid’ page on their website for more proof of payment.
What do I need to join DonkeyMails?
DonkeyMails is open worldwide, and anyone above the age of 18 years can become a member of this platform.
The registration process is one of the simplest for it only requires your email address to get started.
The next step requires you to confirm your email address before filling in your demographics and other personal information such as your name, address and location.
You will get full access to all available tasks after completing the registration process.
How does DonkeyMails work?
This site offers several ways of earning. These include:
- Paid to Click (PTC)
DonkeyMails will pay you to click on ads and view promotional content from advertisers. The earnings range from $0.01 to 0.25 cents per click.
There are paid surveys available from third party sites. Because they are third party sites you will probably find they pay a bit less than the surveys would at the site offering the survey.
- Paid to Sign Up (PTSU)
It involves signing up with free websites and completing free offers available on those websites. The aim of signing up with these free sites is to drive traffic.
You must subscribe to these sites for at least 15 days inorder to be eligible for payment. The earnings for PTSU tasks range between $0.20 to $2.00.
- Paid to Promote
You can earn money promoting advertiser links to other sites. Your account will be credited whenever a third-party clicks on the promoted links. Every 1000 clicks via your promotional links will earn you $0.50
- Paid to Read Emails
DonkeyMails pays you just to read sponsored emails in your inbox. These emails are simply advertisements that promote various products. Earnings per sponsored mail is $0.00025
- Paid to Refer
Donkeymails has a referral program that pays up to 5 levels down. You will earn a certain percentage of what your referrals earn.
1. Level 1 pays 10%
2. Level 2 pays 5%
3. Level 3 pays 3%
4. Level 4 pays 2%
5. Level 5 pays 1%

By learning how to do affiliate marketing, you will be able to build a sustainable online business with affiliate links on your own website.
These are what you call direct referrals, and it is my recommended way to make money on PTC sites. You can learn more about affiliate marketing by clicking HERE
Upgrading your account
If you want to use the paid options on this site, DonkeyMails offers you the chance to upgrade your account and earn more money. The cost of upgrading your membership status starts from $7.99.
Upgraded accounts attract higher commissions than the standard accounts. You can also hire referrals and increase your referral commissions using an upgraded account.
Remember though, there are no guarantees that you will make any money from your referrals therefore you can end up losing money.
With effect from February 2020 you can no longer withdraw money from your DonkeyMails account.
You will earn points on the platform, but whereas before you could either exchange for cash or gift cards, now you can only use your points for advertising on the site.
That means of course that all users of this site are there to get advertising. That may therefore put into question how effective the advertising actually is.
What We Like About DonkeyMails
- It is free to join
- Open worldwide
- It is a legitimate website
- 5-Level referral program
What You May Not Like About DonkeyMails
- It has low-income potential
- It costs money to upgrade an account
- PTC can be tedious and time-consuming
- Does not have an active online forum
- You can’t earn cash, only advertising credits
Some Final Thoughts
The main downside to DonkeyMails are that the site has a low-income potential despite the numerous income streams. You can potentially earn more by referring others, however your referrals must be active on the site themselves in order for you to benefit.
Another downside is the fact that you can’t earn cash anymore. Unless you want to perhaps promote your website then you’re not really going to benefit from this opportunity.
So if you’re just looking for a way to earn a bit of extra cash in your spare time then this isn’t really the right opportunity for you.
Star Rating 2.5/5 DonkeyMails is a long established platform, it combines elements of GPT and PTC. It doesn’t however pay cash, only advertising credits.
