Givvy App Review-Is It Worth Trying?

Givvy App Review

Thanks for joining me today for my review of The Givvy App.

My review will  be finding out whether you really can get free rewards for playing games using this App.

Earning rewards for doing fun stuff sounds great, but if this App really does reward you, are the rewards worth it?

This is what we will be finding out. First however let’s take a look at how the Givvy App works.

Whilst you’re here you may also want to check out another app that pays rewards for playing games. See my Rewarded Play App review

How the Givvy App Works

The Givvy App offers simple and fun games. You can download the app for free and play the games whenever you choose. You’ll always have lots of options with regard to the type of games that you can play.

The good news is that this app can be obtained on both Google Play and the Apple Store.

Teenagers can earn money from home by using this app. You can download it and start using it once you’re 16 and older. You can also use it from both within and outside the United States, making it an international online earning opportunity.

As it’s name suggests, the Givvy App offers you the chance to win giveaways. If you like to enter raffles, you’ll like using this app. You can play games on the site, and those games reward you with points, which can be used to enter giveaways.

Games include Tic Tac Toe, which is popular for people of any age. There are memory games and even games that require you to solve easy mathematics puzzles. The advantage of this of course is that it will allow you to sharpen your mind when you have free time.

While many people like to play games, you’re not just restricted to that. You can also earn when you complete surveys, watch videos and earn or refer other people to the site to increase your rewards.

As long as you have points, you can enter a giveaway. If you win, you can withdraw your winnings right away if you reach the minimum.

Your virtual points don’t have to be used on giveaways. Instead, you can avoid risking them and just transfer them to an account of your choice.

User Feedback On The Givvy App

At the time of writing The Givvy App has a score of 4.2/5 from nearly 36,000 reviews at Google Play.

This is obviously a popular app amongst its users, and most of the members report a positive experience using it.

Users like the fact that the minimum withdrawal has gone back down to what it is now, having gone up to $1 earlier in the year.

Most of those who complain say it takes too long it takes to earn. Others complain about technical glitches, including losing points.

What Are The Pros Of The Givvy App?

  • You’ll always know exactly how many points you’ll gain for a particular game if you win it.
  • The games cover lots of themes, so you’ll always be able to find something interesting to relax with in a few free
  • You can use your points in the way you think will give you the biggest rewards. Use them participate in
giveaways or exchange them for cash.
  • Some people who earn online prefer to receive cash for their efforts. This app satisfies that desire. You
also have a choice of payment methods, so you don’t need to use PayPal.

What Are The Cons Of The Givvy App?

  • This app doesn’t pay at a high rate for most of the regular activities. This is a serious drawback because it limits your ability to earn.

How Much Can You Earn With The Givvy App?

While this app pays cash, it does not pay at a high rate. Each activity pays 4 points on average. You would need to play games around 50 times in order to get $0.10.

Points on this app are paid via PayPal and Revolut. If you wish, you can use your points to take a chance on a giveaway. You can win between $0.55 and $55 on a giveaway.

If you win a giveaway every now and then, you could win an average of $1 a month. If you play it safe, and concentrate on earning points by watching videos and playing games, you could earn $0.05 a week. That’s not a sizable reward for the time you invest.

If you’re withdrawing your money via Revolut, you can request it when you have $0.10 in your account. If you’re using PayPal, the minimum is just $0.29. That means you could withdraw money almost every fortnight, if you wanted to.

Givvy App Review-Is It Worth Trying?

The Givvy App is worth a try if you approach it just as a way to enjoy free games. It has fun giveaways and a very low threshold for payout. This means you won’t risk much by downloading the software and giving it a try.

This app is available worldwide. This makes it a good option for people outside of the United States who want free international game apps.

If you’re looking for an app with a reasonable earning potential, this one will not deliver value for your time.

Star Rating 2.5/5-A fun app that offers games that entertain and exercise your brain. However if you want to earn more for your gaming time then there are better Apps available.

2.5 star rating

My Top Rated Platform For Those Who Want To Aim Higher

You may have realised by now that money making apps don’t offer much potential in terms of earning money online.

They are more about enjoying free games than earning a good side income. The rewards are really just a small bonus for trying the games out.

Our top rated platform however is designed for people who want to see how far they can go with their online income potential.

Many people who have joined our recommended platform are earning either good second incomes or even full time incomes from what they learned on the site.

It is also completely free to join, and you also get at free website to get you started.

  1. Hello,

Thank you for sharing about Givvy App with us. It is good to know that you could make some cents by watching and by playing videos and games.

This is actually a very good way to keep people motivated about using the App more often in order to get paid.

I am sure everyone would want to try. If one could make a cent or a dolor for playing game or making money, why not?

1 cent is for sure not a good dead of $ but let’s say if it is reduced from our pay check then it is quite unpleasing but with Givvy App it is the contraire which is good.

    Good luck for your future!

    1. Hi there,

Yes if you’re going to play games online anyway then you may as well get paid a dollar or two for doing it. I’m glad you found the review informative. Thanks for reading.

  2. Thanks for writing this review on Givvy App.  I’ll consider it a warning not to waste my time getting on it.

The overall impression I was left with was that you’ll make almost no money, but it could be fun for a teenager who’s going to play these kinds of games anyway.

I like your suggestion to try Wealthy Affiliate instead.  That sounds like it’s more my thing.

    Thanks again,

    1. Hi Michael,

Yes I recommend Wealthy Affiliate if gaming is not your thing. The app is designed for those who love gaming and just want to earn a bit extra. Thanks for your comment.

  3. I love apps, because they make my life so much easier. I try to have apps for anything that may help me to get my business done. This Givvy App even though is for playing games, the fact that you can earn some cash makes it more appealing to download and start using it. Again not everything is like we would expect, like earning a decent amount of money from the rewards.

    1. Hi Eugene,

Yes you can use apps like these to relax and in between work, however you shouldn’t expect to earn very much. Thanks for your comment.

  4. I personally am not a supporter of these types of platforms that offer some minimal earnings. Who has free time, and I mean mostly teenagers, they have the luxury of spending time playing games and being rewarded for it. The Givvy App is a platform that in my opinion does not deserve a place where you should spend your time and expect some earnings.

     Post is great anyway.

    1. Hi Oliveir,

Yes these types of apps are probably better suited for those with time on their hands who want to earn an extra dollar or two. Thanks for your comment.

  5. Nice post on the merits of Givvy App. I completely agree with you that there are much better apps that pay you to play games online. Givvy App just does not cut it for me and I would avoid it and keep trying other gaming apps to make some extra pocket change. Nobody is going to get rich playing games like this, but you might as well get paid for your time right? Thanks again for your honest write up on Givvy App.

  6. There are lots of opportunities that you can benefit from online that’ll pay you better money that’s worth the time and energy you’ve invested into, expecting me as a married man, a father of two girls who needs money to be taken care of, for me to sit and play a game for about 50 times before I can earn $0.10 is foolish. Thanks for sharing this, givvy is a total useless product.

    1. Hi Bruce,

Yes these games aren’t really designed to create a viable 2nd income. They are more for fun, and the added bonus of small rewards  if you use them regularly.

  7. Hello Ray, it’s really amazing to see that someone came actually earn from playing games and that is something my kids are really good at. I have to say making money online is really cool and doing the earning from something you love is a total bonus for anyone. I’ll show this givvy app to my son so he can earn and play

  8. Quite an interesting one to see here. Honestly, I value all you have shared here and it makes quite a lot if sense considering all of these that you have shared here.  This givvy app can really be a way to just earn a little bit of cash during leisure while doing the simple thing alike gaming. Surely a worthy one to see here. Thanks
