Today I will be finding out if being a member of PrizeRebel.com could be the best way for you to earn points for redeemable points.

PrizeRebel.com  is what is called a GPT (Get Paid To) platform that has grown quite considerably in popularity and become one of the top rated GPT sites currently available.

I will be discovering how you can earn redeemable points, how you can spend your points, and what real users are saying about PrizeRebel.com.

First however let’s find out more about PrizeRebel and how you can get started.

Introduction to PrizeRebel

As suggested by its name, PrizeRebel is a free to join website whereby members earn redeemable points for completing simple tasks and activities online. These tasks range from answering paid surveys to watching short sponsored videos.

After reaching the pay out threshold, you can redeem your points for various rewards and prizes, including cash and electronic gift cards.

The PrizeRebel community boasts of over 9 million members with $18 million in cash and gift cards redeemed since 2007. The fact that PrizeRebel has over 170,000 fans on Facebook goes a long way to affirm their credibility.

Getting started with PrizeRebel

Signing up with PrizeRebel is free. In addition, the website is open to applicants from around the world aged 18 years or older. You can still apply if you are 13-17 years, but with parental consent.

The registration process is super fast as it only takes less than 10 seconds. You may sign up using your email address or your Facebook ID.

Different ways to make money with PrizeRebel

The main method of earning with PrizeRebel is through answering surveys.

The website offers a wide range of paid surveys from various market research companies such as RadiumOne, Ascend, OfferToro, and AdGate, among many others.

Most of these surveys pay anywhere from $0.50 to $20 depending on the duration and its complexity.

You have the freedom to participate in any survey as long as you pass the prequalification test, which unfortunately isn’t always that easy.

Another downside is that the majority of survey opportunities are only available to members residing in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. However, PrizeRebel makes up for this by offering multiple alternative ways to earn.

The most popular alternative income streams available on this platform include:

Watching videos

Videos are one of the easiest ways of making points on this platform. All you have to do is to select any of the various video partners available such as EngageMe TV, create an account and start watching.

You will receive a specified amount of points after watching a set number of videos.

Completing offers

Another way of earning points is by completing trial offers. It involves completing a specific action on a partner website such as signing up, clicking on a banner, or downloading an app.

Participating in games and contests

Playing online games and participating in contests can also earn you a few extra points or credits. You can view available games on your dashboard and try them out.

As for contests, PrizeRebel runs various daily competitions where the most active members receive a number of points for topping the ranks.

Referrals

You can also earn points by inviting your family and friends to this platform. Earnings range from 20% to 30% depending on your account level.

How much can you earn with PrizeRebel?

The amount of money you can earn with PrizeRebel cannot make you a millionaire overnight.

Like any other survey site, payments range from as little as $0.50 per task. However, you can increase your earnings by inviting your friends and remaining as active as possible. If you are actively involved, you might be able to earn anywhere from $1 to $5 each day.

Payouts

The minimum payout threshold is 200 points ($2) for Amazon gift cards and 500 points ($5) for other reward options.

You may redeem your points for PayPal cash, and electronic gift cards from popular brands such as Starbucks, Target, and eBay, among others.

You may also exchange your points for credits that you may use for online games. The processing of payments is reasonably fast, as it does not take more than 24 hours.

PrizeRebel Reviews From Real Users

At the time of my latest update of this review (January 2021) PrizeRebel has a score of 3.5/5 from 167 reviews at SurveyPolice. It also has a score of 3.2/5 from 164 reviews at Trustpilot.

Most members of the site are very happy with their experience using the site and are highly complimentary.

Others say they get few surveys. This however could be due to geographical location, or demographics that are not strongly in demand from the market research companies.

Others complain however about having to answer a lot of qualification questions before being told they don’t qualify. Some claim to have earned points but haven’t been credited.

A few members say their accounts have been banned without good reason. Obviously we can’t say with any certainty who is at fault. It is recommended however that you read the sites terms and conditions thoroughly before deciding to sign up.

What Are The Pros Of PrizeRebel?

– Available worldwide

– Multiple income opportunities

– Reasonable earnings

– Supports PayPal payments

– Fast processing of payments

What Are The Cons Of PrizeRebel?

– Pre-qualification tests for surveys

– Most opportunities are only available to residents of the US, UK, CA, and AUS

Platforms I Know Can Make You Money

Some Final Thoughts On PrizeRebel

PrizeRebel offers a wide range of opportunities for you to make some extra cash. Most of the tasks are extremely simple, making it easy for any member to earn. The website also does not restrict members from participating in surveys.

Essentially, you can complete as many tasks as you want, at your own pace from the comfort of your home or office.

Even though PrizeRebel will not make you a million, it is one of the best platforms to earn points that you can redeem for rewards.

Star Rating 3.5/5-A good GPT platform that provides plenty of earning opportunities, including a good referral program. Sites like PrizeRebel however won’t replace your day job or pay all your bills.

  3. Hi Deb,
Yes you’re right, if you have plenty of time on your hands and if you find sites like this one to be a bit of fun then it is an easy way to generate a small income.
Yes I wouldn’t recommend a site like this one if it is your aim to make serious money.
Building an online business however can take some time, so I don’t recommend that if you are in need of some immediate cash.
I do suggest trying my number one recommendation if you have a longer term outlook.
I hope however that my review of PrizeRebel has given you a good idea of what you can expect from the site and the earning opportunities that are available.
Of the GPT sites out there PrizeRebel does seem to be one of the better ones.
Thanks for your visit and comment Deb I really appreciate it. Best wishes to you and your online business.

  4. Interesting review. This site sounds like fun and I guess if you’re just wanting a bit of pocket money and if you have plenty of time it probably could satisfy you.

Even though I can be tempted by these sites I have to remind myself that if I want to make serious money, which is my goal, they are really just a distraction.

I recommend to anyone reading your post, who is serious about making an income online, to go with your number one recommendation. It’s a great safe place to learn how to make money online.

  5. Hi Derek,
The videos don’t pay that well, 2 points for watching 6 videos and you have to watch them for at least 45 seconds. You may decide though that this is an easy way to earn albeit a very small way to earn.
This is only a small side income opportunity Derek, but it could pay some small bills here and there which can be very important.
If you have 4 hours spare and you spend all that time at PrizeRebel then you will generate a side income here.
If you are more ambitious and want to work on building yourself a full time income from the Internet then I would try my number one recommendation for making money online.

  6. Hi There,

I am thinking about watching the videos. How much would they pay me for watching videos?

Is possible to earn a nice second income from this opportunity?

Do you know of another legit opportunity where I can earn money online, I don’t mind working hard. I about 4 hrs daily free and I am in need of a second income!

  7. Hey Dave,
Watching videos on any GPT site is one of the slowest ways to earn, and it is the same on PrizeRebel.
On this site you will only get 2 points for watching 6 videos, and each video you must watch for 45 seconds. I personally prefer to stick to surveys as they build the points more quickly.
But that is the advantage of an ‘all rounder’ site like this one, you get a good choice of ways to earn points.
Thanks for your comment Dave I really appreciate you checking out my review.

  8. Hey,

I wanted to work on watching the videos. How much do they pay for the videos? I wanted to get paid watching and I was thinking of leaving them in playing more and do some of my other duties.

Could that be possible for me to do?

    Waiting for your response. Thanks
