Thanks for checking out my Streetbees review.
In my review today I am going to be taking a detailed look at the Streetbees reward App to find out if you can earn, and if so how much you can earn, and what the pros and cons are likely to be should you decide to join the Streetbees platform.
To help me I will be joining the App and taking an inside look. I will also be discovering what other users of the app are saying about it.
First though let’s get started by finding out a bit more about Streetbees, and what becoming a ‘Bee’ involves.
What Is Streetbees?
Streetbees is a mobile app that is available at both Google Play and at The App Store. and offers paid surveys to its members.
The app is run by StreetBees Limited, which is a market research company based in the UK.
Through its members commonly known as bees, Streetbees seeks to gather consumer data to help brands such as Pepsi, Unilever, and Vodafone among others, learn about consumption habits, marketing opportunities, and competitive threats.
In exchange for your feedback, you will receive cash rewards that you can redeem via PayPal.
How Do You Join Streetbees?
Streetbees is free to join. Essentially, anyone can become a bee so long as you are over 18 years old and you have access to an internet-connected smartphone.
However, your eligibility to join largely depends on your country of residence, as the app is only available in 87 countries worldwide. Even though Streetbees has a website, you can only register as a new bee through the app.
Fortunately, the process of signing up is fast and simple as it only requires your name, email address, and phone number. Alternatively, you may register using your Facebook ID.
Once you’re signed up you will receive an invitation to find out how things work by joining a ‘chat’ with the App. I was paid £0.15 for this introduction that took a couple of minutes. During the chat with the app I had to photograph a random product that I had in my house.
The introduction shows you how the stories (surveys) work. The questions, rather than being in the usual format of a survey, are presented as a texted chat.
As you can see from my first chat story below. The app says it will provide you with both paid and unpaid stories. It tells me that the more unpaid stories I do, the more paid ones will be available.
As you can see the App then asks if I want more stories. I clicked submit and was offered £0.25 to provide a few details about myself (see below).
How Do You Earn Money With Streetbees?
Streetbees offers several opportunities for you to make some extra cash. The most popular ways to earn on this platform include:
- Completing stories
The main way of earning on this platform is through surveys (stories). Once a survey that matches your profile becomes available, it will appear on your dashboard automatically as a story.
All you have to do is click on the story and answer the questions when you are ready.
Completing stories involves voting in opinion polls, taking fun photos and recording short video responses revolving around your hobbies.
For instance, Streetbees may ask you to record yourself while preparing a particular brand of coffee or request you to snap your favorite dress.
These stories are essentially interactive surveys that seek to understand consumer behaviours.
- Mystery Shopping
Occasionally, Streetbees may ask you to take several photos of products in your local store while you are out shopping.
The aim of taking these photos is to gather data revolving around shelf placement, available stock and price comparisons.
- Streetbees Ambassador
You can also earn money by becoming a Streetbees Ambassador.
The main role of a Streetbees Ambassador is to help expand the platform in your country. The program is more or less a referral scheme whereby you earn money whenever a new member you have invited completes their first task.
However, referral payments are not standard, as they depend on where you live.
How Much Can You Earn With Streetbees?
Even though Streetbees might have plenty of jobs at any given time, you should not expect to earn much. Most of the surveys I saw pay less than $1 while uploading photos or videos pays slightly more.
Essentially, the amount of money you can earn depends on the availability of jobs and your demographics.
In most cases, members residing in the UK and the U.S. are likely to get more opportunities compared to members from other regions.
This is because most clients are based in these two countries.
Based on this assessment, it is easy to tell that you cannot earn much on this platform. I think if I were to commit 30 mins or so per day for a month I would estimate I could earn about £10.
Im based in the U.K, so depending upon where you are your earnings could exceed this, or it could be less. You could of course commit more time each day, but the availability of stories will determine your earning potential.
Therefore, you should not have very high expectations as far as building a solid income is concerned.
How Do You Cash Out With Streetbees?
The really good thing about Streetbees is that it does not have a minimum payout threshold.
You will receive your earnings directly into your Streetbees account within 48 hours after the review and approval of completed tasks.
From there, your money will go directly into your PayPal account. I must admit it’s nice to see money being drip fed (even small amounts) into your PayPal account rather than having to wait to reach a certain cash out amount.
If PayPal is not supported in your country, Streetbees will pay you through mobile top up.
Is Streetbees Legit?
Yes, Streetbees is 100% legit. It really does pay you for participating in their stories by sharing your opinion.
I received payment promptly (48 hours as stated) after I had completed each story.
Payment Proof From Streetbees
At the time of my latest update of this review the Streetbees App has just over 95, 000 reviews on Google Play with a score of 4.5/5 .It also has over 1000 reviews on the App Store achieving a score of 4.4/5.
The majority of users are happy with the App, with members confirming quick payments and good customer service. However like all apps there are complaints.
Some users report delays in waiting for their stories to be reviewed and approved. Others have connection problems and therefore have difficulty completing surveys.
Other members complain that stories take longer to complete than stated on the App, and some say they don’t have many stories in their feed.
Streetbees offers its members a genuine and legit way to earn a bit extra online by completing various small tasks. Just like myself, many members report having received their rewards in exchange for the work they have done on the platform.
Just because Streetbees is legit however doesn’t mean it is the right choice for you.
Every reward site has its advantages, and unfortunately some features can be a disadvantage. Below are what I consider to be the pros and cons of the Streetbees platform.
What Are The Pros Of The Streetbees App?
– Free to join
– Available in 87 countries
– Fun and easy tasks
– No minimum payout threshold
– Pays through PayPal
– Referral program
What Are The Cons Of The Streetbees App?
– Availability of jobs depends on your demographics
– Very low-income potential
– Sometimes slow to approve your stories
– Streetbees may terminate your account without notice

Is Streetbees Worth It?
The Streetbees app offers an easy way of earning money online, and has many happy users that enjoy their experience using the App.
However, the pay rate is too low to make any significant difference to your bank balance. Essentially, you cannot rely on this or any other similar platform for a consistent income.
What you also have to bear in mind is that the availability of jobs depends on your location. You also have to wait for your surveys to be reviewed before you get paid.
Streetbees is available to users from a number of countries, however you may not find many jobs if you live outside countries such as the UK or US. For these reasons, Streetbees may only be worth joining if you live within these countries.
Have you tried Streetbees? If so what did you make of it, let us know in the comments what you thought.
Star Rating 2.5/5-A legit rewards website and app that allows you to earn money with little effort. There is no minimum cash out which is a big plus, however the earnings are very limited, especially if you are based outside of either the U.S or U.K
