How Much Can You Earn With The Media Rewards App? A Review

Media Rewards App Review

Thanks for joining me today for my Media Rewards App. review

Lots of people these days make money online by participating in research, and this Media Rewards App Review will be finding out whether you can earn cash for research by listening to the radio or watching television.

I will be finding out if you really can earn whilst you have the radio running in the background as you are doing other things.

How Media Rewards App Works

Media Rewards measures the impact of television and radio advertising on consumers. Advertisers want to know if hearing ads about a particular brand of chocolate really inspires you to go out and buy more.

They want to learn whether one type of ad is more effective at getting you to purchase fries with your burger, than another type.

While you listen to your radio or television via the app, ads are being played. You’re rewarded with points for listening. After listening, you’ll be asked questions about the products through surveys.

Your responses to these questions will indicate just how much of an effect the ads had on you.

You can join this research panel by using a referral link. Once you do so, you can download the app and participate.

Media Rewards gives you points for playing your radio or television in the background.

You are paid per minute, since the advertisers want to know how much attention you’re paying to their ads in these spaces.

You also get paid whenever you complete a survey, so your balance increases every day by taking surveys.

Prize draws are held every month, and these give you a chance to win more cash.

To be entered into more draws however, you need to accumulate as many points as possible. To gain entry into all the draws you need to be in the top 50% of point earners on the site.

Winners are announced promptly on the 16th of every month via the app. Whether you win on the draws however is of course down to luck, so you can’t rely on this to earn on this App.

Unfortunately your earnings are made available via gift cards only. You can get gift cards from Amazon, David Jones, and Lowes.

There is also a wide selection of popular shops for you to choose from.

Media Rewards App Reviews From Real Users

At the time of my latest update of this review people like using this app, and have given it a high rating on the Google Play store. It currently has an average rating of 4.1/5.

Ratings on Google Play are quite good, but the Media Rewards app scores are higher on the Apple Store, where users have given it 4.8/5

The fact that the app is rated quite on both platforms shows that it really is easy to use, and doesn’t interfere with how you would normally use your phone.

Users like the fact that you can earn a passive income by simply having the app run on your phone.

Users like the rewards that they get for their favourite stores, and look forward to using the app.

However there are users that complain they haven’t been able to earn anything using the App despite having it installed for a number of weeks. Some say the App burns their battery life for no return.

There are also users that complain that there are technical glitches.

Additionally, there has been a mixed response from my readers (see comments section below) with some reporting that they haven’t been able to earn anything from this App.

I would love to hear from more of my readers that have tried The Media Rewards App and want to share their experience. If you do please leave a comment in the comments section below.

What Are The Pros Of The Media Rewards App?

  • Your participation is covered by the standards set out by the platform. All of your opinions are used for market research without revealing who you are. None of your behaviour is tracked.
  • The App is available to both Android and iOS phone users.
  • You can earn passively using this App.

What Are The Cons Of The Media Rewards App?

  • Media Rewards is not open to everyone. You can only join if you are referred by someone else, or receive a direct invitation from the panel. While they only send out a few invitations each month, you can increase your chances of getting one by signing up. Signing up won’t get you on the panel but it will make them aware that you’re interested.
  • Complaints from users saying they haven’t been able to earn very much, or nothing at all (see comments below).
  • Complaints that the App can drain your battery.

Some Final Thoughts On The Media Rewards App

Media Rewards offers a different, and fun way to earn money online.

If you are like many people, you probably listen to the radio while you jog or cook, so you can catch up on the news and current events.

This app asks you to do the same thing, and gives you rewards. You don’t have to change any of your habits.

It doesn’t use up much of the charge on your phone, so you can play it all day, and barely notice it in the background.

No audio recordings are made via the app, so your privacy is protected. You get a valuable gift card after every survey you complete, and have the chance to win lots of cash each month in their prize draws.

Joining this platform makes it easy for you to earn, and other users agree that its ease of use and rewards make it worth it.

Star Rating 3/5-The Media Rewards App offers you the chance to earn a little extra cash in an easy way.

    1. Hi Lisa,
Thanks for sharing your experience with Media Rewards. That is the problem of course, it is all down to luck.
Wishing you better luck in the future if you stick with Media Rewards.

    1. Hi Jackson,

Thanks for sharing your experience with The Media Rewards App. This will be of interest to our readers. Have you tried contacting customer service? Keep us updated as to whether they respond.

  1. This app is really interesting, and it never drains much charge. It runs smoothly in the background. I installed it yest and I get score points whenever I browse something.

  2. I’ve had Media Rewards installed for a few months. I’ve got nothing from it. I can’t even remember what I’m supposed to get from it (which is why I clicked on this link: to remind me what I signed up to). The idea of being paid actual money for surveys seemed to good to be true, and, as usual, it was. There aren’t any surveys as far as I can see. I’m just sending them my data for free.

    1. I actually belong to several servey panels online some pay little some pay great. You just have to do some investigation and figure out what works for you. I tried this because it kept being recommend to me by the other lagit earners. I must say that after several weeks I was getting apprehensive myself so… Like they said above you get invited to do surveys with them per the advertising you are exposed to. If your not around a lot of ads or commercials you won’t be doing a lot of surveys. Second.. At the end of each month or the date they count the points you earned leaving the app running. You must choose a pay out. If you don’t and you haven’t allowed push notifications. Those points will just disappear and then start all over again. Hence it looking like you are running a dumb app for nothing (couldn’t be more wrong)
Third.. If you are looking for lagit survey panels and even a company that sends you stuff to try in exchange for a review and cash here are a few.( Google them and check what people are saying about each before you try)
      Survey Junky *
Pinecone research ( sometimes by invitation only)
      Paid Viewpoint (link added)https://paidviewpoint.com/?r=Mediapay2
      Product Report Card
      Tellwhut *
      YouGov *
      Opinions For Good (www.op4g.com)
      User Testing
Hope that helps the (*) is next to the ones that don’t pay a lot but pay out as low as 5 dollars at a time.
      Have fun and good luck!!

  3. I’ve used the Media Rewards app for several years and earnt for its media monitoring function but I’m never sure which surveys come from them as there’s no info on how their surveys are identified. Maybe I’m just missing out. If any one receives the surveys, can you please tell me how the common sender is labelled?
