Thanks for checking out my Oneforma review.
Oneforma is an online platform designed to help freelancers to find jobs that they can do from home, and on any day of the week.
In my review today I will be finding out what you need to know about the Oneforma platform to help you decide if it’s worth checking out for yourself.
To help me do this I will be uncovering what real users of the site are saying about it, and weighing up the pros and cons to help you come to a more informed decision about whether you should join.
First however, let’s get started by finding out how Oneforma works.
How Oneforma Works
Oneforma is a free product of PacteraEDGE, a digital and technology company that operates in several countries, specializing in AI algorithm training and data collection.
Oneforma provides jobs in over 150 languages and all of their jobs have a cultural or linguistic component. These jobs are offered by the companies that partner with PacteraEDGE.
You can sign up for a free account with your name, language, location and a valid email, ensuring that you click the activation link that will be sent to you.
You’ll also need to complete a Non Disclosure Agreement certification and your profile, so that when you apply for jobs, you’ve already declared that information will be treated confidentially and you have skills in particular areas.
You won’t have any fees taken from your earnings or be required to pay for membership at any time.
A quick verification test is required to confirm your native language.
Oneforma gives freelancers from around the world access to jobs in different areas. You’ll have to demonstrate your ability to successfully complete tasks in those areas.
This will only have to be done once and you’ll receive a Certification that serves as a record, which immediately informs the team of what your skills are.
Certifications cover a wide range of skills. For example, you could demonstrate your skills in marketing, transcription or translation.
These certifications will often be required for jobs in specific categories. Apart from that, there are also project-specific certifications that help you to join one of their work opportunities.
You’ll have to be approved for a job before you can start it. Once you’re approved, you should go to the production system.
The work can be done online or offline and details will be found message centre. For example, if you’re doing a data collection project, you may be required to take pictures or videos offline and submit those online to receive your payment.
How You Could Earn from Oneforma
You can earn by doing jobs that interest you and match your skills. The site has job listings that are updated every day, and you can apply for any of the jobs after you’ve read its detailed description.
If you prefer to only browse jobs in a particular category, such as those in French, you can use the filters to adjust the selection and make your search more efficient.
Once you click Apply for a particular job, you may be invited to take a test. For some jobs, you won’t need to take a test and will be contacted by the Oneforma team within a day or two if your application is approved.
You may not be able to view or apply for jobs in which the language requirement is not met. Certifications are used to match you to projects.
This means that you’ll have access to a lot of projects if you have certifications in numerous areas. You’ll increase your ability to earn if you work for as many certifications as you’re willing to gain.
You’ll either earn by the project or by the hour. If you’re the type of freelancer who likes to stick to tasks that pay you by the hour, several of those are available on Oneforma.
The production team will email you with the details of each project that you’re approved for.
You won’t need to submit any invoices to be paid for the work that you’ve done. Your account will be updated every month with your payment details, based on jobs that you’ve finished.
Average pay is about $10 per hour or $70 overall for some data collection projects.
How To Redeem Your Oneforma Rewards
Payment for your work on Oneforma will be made via a transfer to your PayPal or Payoneer account. Your account details will not be required until you’ve been approved for your first job. The payment does not have to be requested and what you earn will be transferred to PayPal automatically each month.
Payments are issued by Oneforma between the 14th and 20th of each month.
