Should You Try PrizeRebel? A Review

Today I am having a look at the ‘get paid to’ (GPT) site called PrizeRebel.
This Review will cover all you need to know about the platform to help you to decide if you should try it.
GPT sites like this offer you the opportunity to generate a small income by completing various tasks.
Dont forget this is only a small income site, so keep your earning expectations realistic.
O.K…..let’s have a look at the features of the Prizerebel site and the ways that you can earn from it.
Signing Up
You can sign up via your Facebook account or via your email account.
The first thing you will be asked to do is complete a simple profile questionnaire so they can find surveys for you that match your demographic.
You can add a few quick points to set you on your way as there are 5 points given to you for taking a quick tour of the site, and you can earn a point for liking the PrizeRebel Facebook page.
It’s always helpful to get a tour around any website that you haven’t used before, but to be honest it is a great interface anyway that provides for a really good user experience. But hey, take the tour and get your 5 points!
The site recommends in a help box that you check out the ‘your survey’ section so you can start building your points up quickly.
Here you will find a number of surveys ready for you.
What I liked about the survey page is the fact that it tells you the length of time it will take to complete the survey and the amount of points you earn for the survey. I find this feature on survey sites helpful.
There are a number of survey company’s that have their surveys made available for you via the site.

Ways To Earn Money At PrizeRebel
Let’s have a closer look at the ways you can earn the points that get you the cash and the rewards;
- Surveys
The surveys are quite short ranging from 5-10 mins and up to around 30 mins generally.
They start at around 50-85 points (100 points is $1) up to around 300 points.
Don’t forget about the prospect of the inevitable getting screened out of a survey though. It’s something you have to factor into the time you spend on any survey site.
- Offers
Offers are advertisements that you can sign up to and you get rewarded for it.
There are free and paid offers available. Don’t forget to cancel the paid ones unless it’s something you really want.
The offers pay more but they can also cost you more unless you are organised.
I recommend getting a separate email account that is solely used for each survey site you sign up for to ensure you keep on top of the offers.
- Tasks
There are small jobs or tasks as they are usually called that ask that you follow instructions carefully, and accuracy is required if you want more tasks.
- Raffles
With the points you have earned you can enter raffles for prizes. It’s everyone’s choice of course but I prefer to keep the points I have earned.
- Contests
Contests are free to join although the requirement is that you may be asked to complete offers or carry out a certain task.
- Watching Videos
You don’t get many points for this but you are afterall only watching videos. You can watch as many as 120 videos every 24 hours.
- Referrals
With the PrizeRebel referral program you can earn 20% of your referrals income.
- Promotional Codes
You can get promotional codes from the PrizeRebel Facebook and Twitter pages that get you points when redeemed.
I have marked PrizeRebel out of 5 on 6 different criteria that I consider to be important factors when deciding what is the best survey site to use.
Customer Reviews
Customer Reviews
4 out of 5
A good score for this. My mark is based upon reviews from customers from around the Internet.
Overall there was a lot more positive things said about this site than negative.
A lot of customers were happy with the numerous ways there are to earn, with lots of surveys being available when they wanted them, along with plenty of offers to try out.
A lot of the reviews I found were from people who have been members for a long time and have stayed with PrizeRebel because they were happy with the side income it provided for them.
Some did complain about not being credited for paid surveys they had done and completed.
This is something that is often complained about with survey sites in general however it is difficult to say with any certainty who is at fault.
There were one or two other complaints about technical issues and not qualifying for a survey after answering a number of questions however this is a fact of life with completing online surveys.
Redemption Amount
Redemption Amount
3 out of 5
Not a bad score for this.
I base my score on the amount you have to reach to get cash rather than when you get a gift card or other reward.
To get paid via PayPal which is my favoured reward choice you have to accumulate $10 (or 1000 points).
This is achievable within a reasonable length of time given there are plenty of earning opportunities available on the site. I have given a mid range score as it is in the mid range when compared to other sites, some of which are lower and some higher.
Customer Service
Customer Service
4 out of 5
I have based this score on reviews from around the web and also upon my own personal experience.
Nearly all the reviews that mentioned customer service had positive things to say in that they found them to be helpful.
I also used their ticket service recently to ask about a feature on the site that I didn’t understand. I received a very satisfactory and prompt reply.
I did find a few negative comments from users but these were few and far between.
Length Of Time In Business
Length Of Time In Business
4 out of 5
A good score for this as they have been around since 2007 so they are obviously doing something right.
They have approx 6.5 million members and many thousands of Facebook followers.
All these factors are a good sign as they help to confirm the legitimacy of the company.
Speed Of Payments
Speed Of Payments
4 out of 5
Another good score.
When you have reached the cash out amount it is annoying if you then have to wait further to get what you have earned.
You can however expect prompt payment from this company.
PrizeRebel process your rewards within 24 hours.
Electronic awards such as game and Giftcard codes are delivered to your rewards page immediately. Emailed rewards are delivered within 24-48 hours.
Shipped items can take anywhere between 7-21 days.
Choice Of Reward
Choice Of Reward
5 out of 5
A top score for this as PrizeRebel have a good choice of rewards.
I think it’s best to be given the choice between getting cash or other rewards, but think it’s even better when there are a number of choices when it comes to rewards as well.
Reward options include;
- PayPal
- Bitcoin
- Numerous Giftcards including Amazon, iTunes, Facebook game cards prepaid visa Giftcards and others.
Other Features;
Challenges
A nice feature of this site is the daily goals or challenges. Pass the challenge level by getting the number of points needed then get rewarded.
Setting goals is always a good idea in my view no matter what you are trying to achieve.
Account Levels
The longer you stick with PrizeRebel by earning more points the more likely you are to move up a level.
What Are Levels?
As you achieve certain points balances you can unlock more benefits to your membership.
The levels and points required are as follows;
Bronze Starter
Silver 1000 points
Gold 3000 points
Platinum 7000 points
Diamond 12000 points
Silver membership entitles you to automatic processing of your code rewards claims if the item is in stock.
There are special percentage bonuses offered to Gold and above members on their monthly earnings.
The points that you earned at the lower level however don’t go toward the points required for the next level.

Final Thoughts
My verdict is that this is a legitimate site and recommend it if you are thinking of trying it out.
It will only provide you with a small side income however, but a side income can nonetheless come in handy.

If you break the rules you could lose your points. PrizeRebel make it clear that you cannot for example use a Public Free Wifi/VPN/Proxy to complete surveys otherwise you will be blocked.
