Should You Try UserFeel? A Review

Userfeel Review

Thanks for checking out our Userfeel Review. Today we will be finding out whether you can earn a side income by testing websites as a member of this platform.

We will be discovering what earning opportunities Userfeel has to help you decide if you should try it out yourself.

It is important to understand from the outset that website testing is only a part time gig. That’s  because, although the pay is pretty good for the actual time you spend testing, there wont be consistently enough work available to make it into a full time income.

The reason you can’t guarantee how many tests will be made available to you is because tests are often dependant upon your demographic.

How many tests you get is also determined by how effective the platform rates you at doing the tests….O.K sit tight and let’s get started…..

Why The Need For Freelance Testers?

Webmasters can really benefit  from having their websites tested. Feedback from Internet users provides them with essential insights about the user experience. They also need a company that can provide the service at an affordable price.

That is where  Userfeel comes in, because they put the testers (people like you and me) together with websites that need testing.

Signing Up To UserFeel

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to become a Tester at UserFeel.
  • When you register UserFeel will ask you to provide some personal information to enable them to match you with tests that fit your demographic.

How It Works At UserFeel

  • In order to provide the feedback needed you must navigate a website and give a vocal feedback by using a microphone ( most computers now have an inbuilt microphone, but they are inexpensive to buy if you need one). You need to get used to thinking aloud so that your experience of the site is recorded.
  • You will need to demonstrate how good you are at this and you will be given a test to see how you go. The better you are the more tests you are likely to get. The amount of tests you get will also be determined by your demographic and the amount of orders UserFeel gets that match with you.
  • You are not going to be able to make a full time living from doing this although the pay is good compared to other ways to earn a side income on the Internet such as taking surveys for example.
  • At UserFeel get paid $10 per test and the tests take around 15 minutes, so it isn’t bad, but you aren’t guaranteed to get any certain number of tests. Joining a number of sites like these will help you boost your side income. UserFeel pay you via PayPal.

If you are good at website testing then you could earn a better side income if you join a few of these sites.

Here is a promotional video for Userfeel for clients who want to use Userfeel’s website testers to test their website.

Tips On Becoming A Tester

Remember you are giving your honest opinion about what you see on each website, and that may include both positive and negative feedback.

You will need to explain why you are doing certain things whilst navigating the site, and explain what things come easy or what confuses you. You will also need to give thorough written answers at the end of the test. You will have to speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard. The better you are at this the more work you will be offered.

When And How Do You Get Paid By UserFeel?

Once your test has been approved by Userfeel you will get paid, and this usually takes around one week after the test.

Userfeel pays via PayPal or Payoneer, so make sure you have an account to put on your Userfeel profile.

What Are The Pros?

  • Free to join and with no special skills required, although you will have to be good at talking clearly and concisely about what you see.
  • A good rate of pay for the time you spend testing a site.
  • Payment is via PayPal
  • This can be an enjoyable way to earn a side income.

What Are The Cons?

  • It won’t suit everyone.
  • It is only a side income, don’t give up your full time job if you have one.

Final Thoughts On UserFeel; Is It Legit?

UserFeel is definitely a legitimate way to earn a side income. It won’t become a full time income but you can maximise this as a side income if you enjoy doing it, by joining a few similar sites.

  1. This is the first I’ve heard of UserFeel, I came across your article while doing my usual search for ways to make more money. Sounds like a simple enough concept, but I’m a little unclear on what these websites are being tested for? Is it just to see how easy it is to navigate around the site, or do they ask specific questions that need to be addressed?

    1. Hi Shirley,
A tester is primarily providing feedback on the user experience. Website owners want testers to think out loud whilst they navigate the site. For example they may say they didn’t expect to see that on a particular page, or where do I find this in the menu. Testers are ordinary users so the things that they are thinking will be the same or similar to what other users will be thinking too.
Website testing is a legit way to earn a side income. It is quite well paid in terms of the time you spend testing however there isn’t going to be enough tests available to make this into a full time income.
Thanks for reading my review and for taking the time to comment.

  2. I am always looking for ways to earn some extra revenue and I am happy I found this review of Userfeel.
This seems like a simple and also profitable way to make some extra money. Paid surveys and the likes usually pay way to little money and is not worth the time and effort.
This however seem to be the thing. Are there any other similar sites you could recommend?

  3. Hi Jojo,
Testing websites offers an opportunity to earn a small income online. You will of course do better at it and probably earn more if you are good at it.
It does pay better than taking surveys online but there are some skills involved with this kind of work.
I have reviewed a few other website testing sites, you can find the links within the article. The ones reviewed are each legit sites like Userfeel. If you wanted to give this a try it is recommended that you join up to a few of the sites to maximise your earnings.
Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to comment.

  4. From what I see, you have put a lot of time in on this project. I can make some observations, not criticizing ,that I see and feel.
The pics are a bit confusing to me, but all is set out well. I hope I can do the same with mine.
I can follow the main theme of what you are promoting.

  5. Hi Rwindish,
Thanks for your compliments about my review. Website testing is worth trying if you are looking to earn a side income. Try the links in the article if you are looking to earn a full time income from the internet.
Thanks for dropping by and I wish you all the best.

  6. Hi –

I was able to pass the Qualification test for Userfeel –
Would you have any idea as to how often they assign Test projects for you?

    1. Hi Jonathan,
When you take the test you will have been given a rating by Userfeel, based upon your performance. You will also receive a rating for each test from the customer. The better the rating you are given, the more tests you will get. The amount of tests you receive is also determined by the demand for testing from someone fitting your demographic profile.
It is therefore difficult for me to say, with any real accuracy, how many tests you are likely to get given the above criteria.
I wish you well however with your website testing at Userfeel and I hope you secure a good side income with them. Don’t forget however, if you find you aren’t getting as many tests as you would like there are other sites (please see the links above) that you can join to maximise your earnings.
Thanks for dropping by Jonathan I really appreciate you leaving your comment.

  7. Looks like Userfeel may be a new testing platform that I’ll try! I’ve tried out testing websites in the past, but I’ve noticed that I really don’t make enough money off of them to be satisfied a lot of the time. Obviously, as you said, this would be some side income, not main income, but it seems like a decent platform!

    Thanks for the article!

  8. Hi Lizzie,
Yes I’ve used them myself, I also found the downside to be that the income isnt great. Signing Up To a number of testing sites is the best way to boost the income. Userfeel does appear to be a decent platform, and therefore one worth considering.

  9. Honestly, I’ve lost a decent amount of trust in this company due to the fact my qualification test hasn’t been reviewed in nearly two months whereas on another website testing company got my test reviewed in about three days. I have tried contacting them twice with no response at all. I’m trying to contact them again but I seriously doubt I’ll get a response this time.

    1. Hi Raed,
Thanks for sharing your experience with UserFeel, I’m sorry to hear that it has been a negative one. The site does state that it should only take between 7-15 days to rate the test. Clearly you have been waiting much longer than this, and for them not to respond after you contacting them more than once must be very frustrating.
I wonder if any other readers have experienced the same thing…
Thanks again for sharing…wishing you lots of success with your testing on the other sites you have signed up to and have had a better response.

  10. Hi ,
I’m a beginner as a website tester, is there any training or courses about how to test a website .
I would like to pass the test sample and have a high rate .
