Survey Squad Review: Is it Worth Joining?

In this Survey Squad Review I will be taking a look at whether this platform really is worth your time.

With so many reward sites available on the internet today, it can be difficult deciding which ones are worth the effort.

Taking surveys is one of the easiest ways of earning a little extra pocket money online.

A good strategy is to sign up to a few sites to maximise your earnings. The more survey platforms you join, the more money you are likely to earn.

Unfortunately, despite you being signed up to a few survey sites, it will never amount to being anything like a full time income.

What Is Survey Squad?

Survey Squad is an online company that offers paid research surveys to its members.

It brings together people from all walks of life to share their opinions about a variety of products and topics.

Is Survey Squad trustworthy?

Survey Squad is a reputable online platform. Established in 2003 by the Focus Forward Group, this platform has since gained a strong presence in the market research sector.

It has a strong membership base that consists of college students, stay-at-home moms, tech-savvy enthusiasts, and working professionals.

Getting started on Survey Squad

Survey Squad is very restrictive when it comes to membership. To join this platform, you must be a US resident.

Nonetheless, signing up with this platform is free and easy. It only requires your name, email address and password.

You also need to update your profile to increase your chances of getting more survey invitations.

How does Survey Squad work?

Like many other survey panels Survey Squad has rigorous pre-qualification process that determines the eligibility of members to take part in various research studies.

This screening process might disqualify you from taking surveys, however I’m afraid this is just a fact of life with online surveys.

You will receive email notifications as soon as surveys that match your profile become available.

The email invitation will have a link that directs you to the survey. You have to answer a few pre-screen questions from the client to qualify for the actual survey.

The average time for each survey is 15 minutes, but you can log out halfway through a survey and come back later to complete it.

Each survey pays differently depending on various factors such as duration and topic.

On average, a survey will earn you 1,000 – 5000 points ($1 – $5).

Apart from taking surveys, Survey Squad offers alternative income opportunities. These include:

• In-person interviews
Survey Squad may occasionally contact you for in-person interviews. An in-person interview is a face-to-face interaction that seeks to find out your views on various products and topics.

• Online bulletin boards
You may get an invite for online bulletin discussions about various topics. However, you must pass a pre-screening test before joining an online bulletin board.

• Phone interviews
Phone interviews are surveys that take place over a phone conversation rather than online. You have to pass a pre-screening test just like any other Survey Squad survey.

In-person interviews, phone interviews, and online bulletin board forums are the highest paying revenue stream on Survey Squad.

You can earn between $100 and $300 per project. However, these projects are often rare to come by, and they have very strict pre-qualification processes.

Unlike normal surveys, which earn you points, these projects often pay in cash.

Earning potential on Survey Squad

Survey squad has a potentially higher earning potential, but it all depends upon whether you qualifying for the higher paying surveys.

Getting paid on Survey Squad

Survey Squad uses a redeemable point system where 1,000 points is equivalent to $1. You can withdraw your earnings at any time once you reach the minimum cashout of $20 or 20,000 points.

Payments are via check, and it might take up to 8 weeks for you to receive your check.

Pros
• It is free to join
• Registration bonus
• Alternative income opportunities via focus group discussions and in-person interviews
• High incentives
• Monthly sweepstakes where you can win $250 (250,000 points)
• Cash, check and gift card payments for various projects

Cons
• Delays in payments
• Payments for surveys are via check only
• Difficult to qualify for surveys
• Restricted membership (US residents only)
• High minimum cashout of $20 (20,000 points)

Final Thoughts

Survey Squad is a legit survey panel with numerous opportunities for members.

However, qualifying for higher paying surveys and research studies is rather difficult.

However if you do manage to qualify, then Survey Squad pays high rewards, especially for in-person interviews, online bulletin boards, and phone interviews.

You can earn up to $300 per study, but these kinds of high paying opportunities are, as stated earlier, often rare.

Some people may also be put off by the fact that payments are by check, and these are slow to arrive. Other survey sites use PayPal for example, which a lot of people prefer.
