Thanks for checking out my Web Perspectives review.
Web Perspectives is an online survey platform that is designed to reward its Canadian residents for sharing their opinion via online surveys and other research studies.
In my review today I will be finding out what you need to know about the Web Perspectives platform to help you decide if it’s worth checking out for yourself.
I will be uncovering what real users of the site are saying about it, and also weighing up the pros and cons to help you make a more informed decision about whether you should join.
First however let’s get started by finding out a bit more about Web Perspectives.
About Web Perspectives
Web Perspectives is a free membership site that lets members earn gift cards and other rewards for giving their feedback. via online surveys.
The platform is open to Canadians who want to share their opinions on the products that they use. The company is under the umbrella of Research Now, a global market research company with over 3 million members.
The panel partners with companies that do business in Canada and would like feedback from consumers in that demographic. The site is completely free to join.
The site is involved in market research for different companies. They use different methods to find out what consumers think about different products that they use, such as banking services, soaps and food.
You are never required to participate in any type of study when you join the site but you are free to do as many as you wish and that you’re also qualified to participate in.
Surveys are one of the easiest ways to share your opinion on the site. You’ll be asked a few questions and you should share your honest opinion.
Do not change the answers to your surveys to reflect inaccurate information, as this may disqualify you from the panel.
You can also share our feedback by participating in focus groups. Generally, focus groups pay more than surveys but you may not be able to do those as often as surveys.
Web Perspectives members can also gain points by doing diary studies in which you report on your experience with a particular product over a specific period of time. This can be as short as a few days or as long as a month.
Your feedback will be requested on a wide range of interesting topics. You could be asked about the latest blockbuster movies, your favourite dishes or lifestyle trends. People who like fashion will enjoy doing surveys that ask them about trends in this area.
How You Could Earn from Web Perspectives
Web Perspectives members earn from their surveys, focus groups and other market research activities. You could earn between 100 and 500 points for each survey that you do.
Your earnings depend both on the length of the survey and how complex it is, with earnings being placed inside your account automatically upon completion of the survey.
You can receive survey invitations fairly often and this is one site where members do not complain about hardly having any surveys available. You could receive at least 10 and a maximum of 30 survey invitations in a single week.
Remember however, you will not qualify for all of the surveys that you take, because qualifying depends upon your demographic. However, a good feature about Web Perspectives however is that you can earn $0.20 for a survey that takes 30 minutes but for which you don’t qualify for.
The best way to ensure that you earn as much as you can on this site is by completing your profile. You should also make sure your answers are consistent and accurate.
Joining focus groups gives you the chance to earn much more than surveys , so if you are invited to any, try to make use of the option as often as you can.
Points are not always credited to your account immediately, it can sometimes take a few weeks for points to be added to your balance.
You can also win cash in the monthly sweepstakes. Their cash prize sweepstakes give you the chance to win one of five prizes of $1,000 each. Once you’re a registered member and have done a survey within the last month, you will automatically receive an entry in the draw.
How To Redeem Your Web Perspectives Rewards
You can redeem your Web Perspectives earnings once you have the minimum balance of 1,000 points, which is equivalent to $10.
You used to be able to take this as cash via PayPal but this option is not currently available. You can request gift cards from Amazon, movie vouchers, air miles rewards and other options.
When you click Redeem to exchange your points for the reward that you want, your request is not processed automatically. It goes into a pending file and sometimes it can take up to a month for your withdrawal request to be processed.
Web Perspectives Reviews From Real Users
Most of the members of Web Perspectives who have left reviews only have positive things to say about the site, with some of the members having been members for a number of years. Many confirm having received their rewards on more than one occasion.
Of the complaints I found the most common one was a lack of surveys. Although the majority of members report getting a ready supply of surveys, others say they don’t get as many. Unfortunately the amount of surveys you get is determined by your demographic. Try to ensure your profile information is as up to date as it can be to ensure the maximum amount of surveys.
A few members complain about having their accounts suspended for no apparent reason. Obviously it is difficult to say who is right or wrong in individual cases, although the platform can suspend accounts if they feel that their terms and conditions have been violated.
I would love to hear from any of my Canadian readers that either are, or have been, a member of Web Perspectives. If you have and you want to share your experience please leave a comment in the comments section below.
