What Is Zap Surveys? Review
Thanks for dropping by to check out my Zap Surveys Review. Taking online surveys is a popular way to earn a little extra pocket money, but some platforms are better than others. Let’s find out a bit more about Zap Surveys to see what they have to offer.
I’d heard that Zap Surveys, a mobile survey App, guarantees to pay you at least $6 for the first survey you take after signing up. $6 for one survey is way more than you would normally get from legitimate survey sites, so I was curious as to whether they really would pay you that much.
So I decided to sign up to find out…..
When you’re signing up you can do so either with your email account, or sign in with your Facebook account. What you are given is a short profile survey to complete, once completed, your account will show a balance of $6.
I completed my own profile and my balance showed $6.25….a good start.
Once you’ve got your $6 for the first survey with Zap Surveys, the surveys that follow will pay you the industry standard of between approx $0.50 to $1.50 depending upon the length of survey.
The surveys provide at Zap Surveys are from Peanut Labs and SaySo For Good. Each survey that you complete, Zap Surveys will either make a donation to stop child starvation, or a full meal is donated to a starving child.
That’s something I like about the App
What I don’t like so much about Zap Surveys is that you have to earn $25 to cash out. Even with a great start of $6, it is still going to take some real stamina to get to the redemption amount.
When, or if you get to the redemption amount of $25, you can get paid via PayPal or Amazon eGift Card.
What Are People Saying About Zap Surveys
Zap Surveys gets a 4.2 star rating from 624 users on GooglePlay (at the time of writing this review. The users that complained said they didn’t qualify for many surveys, which is of course a common complaint raised by most people who have taken online surveys. Other complaints were about the high cash out sum and the lack of surveys.
There was a 4 star rating on the App Store from a total of 18 user reviews.
Have you used this App and you have been paid? There are no payment proofs that I can find online presently but if you have been using it and reached the payout let us know in the comments below.
Update….readers in the comments section say they have been paid.
There is an incentive to sign up with referral code. My code is J7QEBM3GNO
If you use the code it’s a win win. You get an extra $0.75 (that brings your balance up to almost $7.00)
and I will get $0.15.

You will never get paid a full time income on survey or reward site, they are not meant to make you rich, or even to replace your day job. They are designed to pay you a little money for the time you invest carrying out tasks or surveys at home.
If you have the time to spare, they can be a convenient way to earn some extra pocketmoney whilst you are relaxed and sat at home.
If you get a realistic idea of what you can earn from taking online surveys from home then you won’t be disappointed.
Don’t believe the hype from those that claim you can earn thousands of dollars every month just by taking surveys. But if you choose the right Survey Sites, and work in an organised way,you can create a very useful side income for yourself.
Pros of Zap Surveys
- A good payment for your first survey.
- Mobile apps are a convenient way to earn whilst you are out and about
- Donations made to charity when you complete surveys
- Available to both iPhone and Android phone users
- Good reviews
Cons of Zap Surveys
- A high cash out sum
- Low earning opportunity
- Dont qualify for surveys
Zap Surveys is a convenient way to earn a small amount, and offers a guaranteed $6 incentive to get you started.
Working your way towards the $25 cash out will probably take you some time however, especially if the surveys become few and far between and/or you don’t qualify for many surveys.
Zap Surveys Score 4.5 out of 10….This App gives you $6 to get you started, but it’s a long way to go to get the cash out of $25. There are numerous complaints about it being very difficult to qualify for surveys as I found out myself, but to be fair that is the way it goes with most Survey platforms.
Taking surveys isn’t the only way to earn a little extra legitimate income online.Website testing pays better than taking surveys, and you don’t need any previous experience. You can also earn as a beta tester too.
If you can write, lots of freelancers are now earning either a good second income, or full time income online by writing online.
