What Is Zap Surveys? Review
Thanks for checking out my Zap Surveys Review.
Taking online surveys is a popular way to earn a little extra pocket money, but some platforms are better than others.
Some pay slightly better for surveys, and some offer incentives to sign up, like a bonus to get you started.
Zap Surveys is one such platform that pays a sign up bonus, which admittedly is quite high at $6.
All you are required to do to get that amount in your account is fill out a short profile survey.
Zap Surveys ‘pays’ you $6 to get you started, but of course they won’t pay you a dime until you reach the minimum payout.
If the minimum payout happens to be $25, which unfortunately it is at Zap Surveys, then it could take you quite some time to reach it. Some survey sites let you cash out much earlier.
You may of course not reach it at all.
You may give up due to the frustratingly long time it can take to build up any meaningful amount in your account due to not qualifying for surveys…….which does happen a lot with survey sites.
I signed up to Zap Surveys myself, completed the short survey to get my $6, and started doing the surveys. Unfortunately I didn’t qualify for many.
When the cash out is high, and the surveys are hard to qualify for, it can be difficult maintaining the motivation.
This is what happened to me and I gave up trying to reach $25.
Once you’ve got your $6 for the first survey with Zap Surveys, the surveys that follow will pay you the industry standard of between approx $0.50 to $1.50 depending upon the length of survey.
Zap Surveys do however pay you $0.01 for each continuous day you log in, and say they will pay you $0.75 for logging in 45 days in a row.
So you could reach the cash out without completing a single survey.
However judging by some of the comments I have received in the comments below, some members say they haven’t been paid.
Some however say they have…..so it’s up to you to decide whether you want to spend the time it will take to get to $25 to see if you do get paid.
The surveys provide at Zap Surveys are from Peanut Labs and SaySo For Good. Each survey that you complete, Zap Surveys will either make a donation to stop child starvation, or a full meal is donated to a starving child.
That’s something I like about the App
What I don’t like so much about Zap Surveys is what I mentioned above……which is that you have to earn $25 to cash out.
Even with a great start of $6, it is still going to take some real stamina to get to the redemption amount.
When, or if you get to the redemption amount of $25, you can get paid via PayPal or Amazon eGift Card.
Getting paid via PayPal is in my opinion the best way to get paid. Here are 5 more survey sites that use PayPal
Zap Surveys gets a 4.2 star rating from 624 users on GooglePlay (at the time of writing this review.
The users that complained said they didn’t qualify for many surveys, which is of course a common complaint raised by most people who have taken online surveys.
Other complaints were about the high cash out sum and the lack of surveys.
There was a 4 star rating on the App Store from a total of 18 user reviews.
Have you used this App and you have been paid?
There are no payment proofs from Zap Surveys that I can find online presently but if you have been using it and reached the payout let us know in the comments below.
Take a look at the promotional video below to find out more about Zap Surveys
You will never get paid a full time income on survey or reward site, they are not meant to make you rich, or even to replace your day job.
They are designed to pay you a little money for the time you invest carrying out tasks or surveys at home.
If you have the time to spare, they can be a convenient way to earn some extra pocketmoney whilst you are relaxed and sat at home.
If you get a realistic idea of what you can earn from taking online surveys from home then you won’t be disappointed.
Don’t believe the hype from those that claim you can earn thousands of dollars every month just by taking surveys.
But if you choose the best Survey Sites, and work in an organised way, you can create a very useful side income for yourself. You can also earn more by referring others to survey sites. Check out these sites that will pay you everytime someone is referred by you.

Cons of Zap Surveys
- A high cash out sum
- Low earning opportunity
- Dont qualify for surveys
Zap Surveys is a convenient way to earn a small amount, and offers a guaranteed $6 incentive to get you started.
Working your way towards the $25 cash out will probably take you some time however, especially if the surveys become few and far between and/or you don’t qualify for many surveys.
Zap Surveys Score 4.5 out of 10….This App gives you $6 to get you started, but it’s a long way to go to get the cash out of $25.
There are numerous complaints about it being very difficult to qualify for surveys as I found out myself, but to be fair that is the way it goes with most Survey platforms.
Taking online surveys might be a way to earn a little money on the side, but if you want to take your online earning to another level then you need a different strategy.
