Words Luck App Review-Can You Really Win Free Cash?

Words Luck App Review

Thanks for checking out our review of the Words Luck App.

Today we will be finding out if you really can win free cash on the Words Luck platform simply by playing games.

There are lots of these types of apps available to those who enjoy playing them. And some, like this one, say you can win free cash too.

The app is completely free, so all you need to invest is your time….But can you really win cash, or are they just enticing you so that you will download the app?

To find out I decided to download the App to see if I could make a few easy dollars.

LAST UPDATE April 2020

How The Words Luck App Works

The App is available on both The App Store and GooglePlay, so regardless of the type of phone you have you can still play.

I like word games so I was looking forward to the challenge and being able to earn from it.

After I downloaded the app I wasn’t asked for any details at all…no phone number or email address, not even my name.

You can get stuck into a game straight away, the screen looks like the one below. I was asked to find a three letter word.

As you progress you can win gems which build up your account balance and you win coins, which you can use towards getting hints for each game.

If you’re used to playing word games however then you should be able to find the words quite easily from the letters provided.

If you do spell a word, but not the correct one, then the letters that you used will disappear, making it easier to guess the correct one because of course there are less letters.

Within a few seconds I had earned a decent amount.

Continuing I just needed to win two more games to get another cash amount. I thought at this rate I will build the money up quickly. I played more games and the cash began to pile up.

By now there were advert interruptions between each level, which of course slows down the earning. I decided to I check the cash out sum to see how far I had to go.

So I now had $1.59…..The cash out of $10 looks within reach. That’s really good progress considering I had been playing for less than 15 mins.

However, what I noticed as I progressed through the game was that I now needed to get through 3 levels, or 3 games to earn my next reward. Not only that, the rewards for winning a game were also reducing in each game, as can be seen below….

As I continued playing the game it was taking longer to progress due to the ads, and the winning amount reduced each time I won.

I continued playing another 20 minutes but started to get quite frustrated. I was enjoying playing the game, but the constant ads, and the ever reducing winning prize made me put it down for another day.

I opened the app the following day………you get a bonus for opening the app for the first 7 days (see below).

Lots of ads appeared between each game and the winning amounts were only a few cents.

How Much Can You Win With The Words Luck App?

Going off my experience I can’t really say for certain. However, if you do ever get to the $10 cash out it is likely to take you a long time.

If you have managed to get a payout I would really like to hear from you in our comments below so we can update our readers.

I’m not holding out a lot of hope about getting the $10, although I hope to hear from someone who has been paid.

Update..One of our readers has informed us in the comment section below that she reached the $10.00 and got paid.

User Feedback

The App has a rating of 4.7/5 at GooglePlay with over 5,000 users having left a review.

A lot of users seem to be quite happy with their experience using the App, however there were also a lot of complaints about how the earnings are easy at first but then they get harder as they progress, which was exactly what I experienced too.

What Are The Pros?

  • Free to play
  • Addictive and fun to play app
  • Can be played anytime you have free time

What Are The Cons?

  • Lots of ads
  • Rewards gradually decrease as the game goes on, making it extremely hard to build up your cash balance

Some Final Thoughts

We do have a reader that has told us she got to the $10.00 cash out and she was paid, although it sounds as if it took some real stamina ( and a month or two) to get there. We would however love to hear from other readers that have been paid as well.

This definitely isn’t the quickest way to make money online, especially when you consider the amount of ads you have to watch as well. Nevertheless the the game is fun to play, and the challenge of it really works your brain which isn’t a bad thing of course.

I wouldn’t however recommend this app to use as a side income. That’s because of my experience, and those of other users, there is a high chance you will give up before you get to the redemption amount.

I would have continued to use this app because I enjoyed playing the games, however there were simply too many ads in between games,

Star Rating 2/5 A fun app for word puzzle fans. However you may not get to the payout before giving up.

  1. This is good info! I installed an app of this kind a few months back and I remember I earned like 5$ in few days but if you start playing to earn money I think it is a bit useless, and a waste of time. Is way better if you actually find a game that you really enjoy playing and the earning money part to be just a bonus.

    1. Hi Meg,

Yes, some apps can be fun to play, but earning money from them can be a very frustrating experience. The amount of ads on this app made it even more so. Thanks for your comment.

    2. I get angry at the twist of the game when I hot to 87.08$ only for the game to start all over without cent .

      Stupid game

  2. Words Luck App review is a good one, it is a narration of an experience. I never stop reading these. I love solving word puzzles and I want to try it maybe I will cash out and come and tell you about it. It is a good review, honest and experience. Thank you for the post.

  3. I have been playing for a few months. I am up to 9.42. I have to now clear 15 levels to get .01. When I get to 10.00 I will let you know.

    1. Hi Lisa,

You have a lot more patience than I have! Thanks for letting our readers know how hard it is to get to pay out. It would be great to know however if the app does pay eventually…So If you can update us it would be really appreciated.

  4. I’ve played this for a couple months now i believe it’s been and in the beginning it was quick to add up, as you said. Then the closer to $10 you go the less and less $ you get each time. I was determined however to reach that $10 and cash it in so i kept at it during break times and down times from work. Finally i reached $10.02 and got to cash it in on my paypal for the $10. It asked me to add my email for my paypal. This was just a couple days ago and the message i clicked off real quick without looking to close but i’m sure it said it would be in my paypal 3-5 days. It’s not on there as of yet but I have faith it will be soon. I’ll keep you posted.

    1. Hi Wendee,

First of all congrats at reaching $10, and also thanks for taking the time to detail your experience using this app. I look forward to hearing whether or not your money arrives. I really hope it does…Thanks again.

      1. No problem and Yes I did get my payment on Paypal. It took about 3 business days, but I did receive it. It does take forever after you reach the initial payment but I figure it gives me something to do when on break from work or just having coffee and relaxing. If i can make a few dollars here and there then might as well.

        1. Hi Wendee,

My apologies for my slow reply. Thanks for updating us, I’m pleased to hear you got your $10. I have updated the review to reflect this. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
